   Snap to Grid - Los Angeles Center for Digital Art

I'm taking part in Snap to Grid at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, in conjunction with L.A.'s Downtown Art Walk. LACDA likens its annual show to a "snapshot of a current moment in art history when digital imaging has reached the hands of the many, an age where culture belongs to photo-artists and image makers around the globe."

Raising Our Voices

I'm participating in the upcoming show Raising Our Voices, sponsored by the Chicago Women's Caucus for Art. It's a traveling mail art exhibition that benefits the Differently Minded Art Studio in Chicago.

   This is Not a Test: The Chicago Sound Experience

In August, my field recordings were featured in This is Not a Test: The Chicago Sound Experience, a concert presented by the Chicago Cultural Center at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. The concert was presented through the park's state-of-the-art sound system. It was a montage of works by various artists, including field recordings, abstract sound, spoken word, and radio pieces–all aimed at conveying the Chicago sound experience.
